extracurricual activities

Welcome to the web site of the Crypt School, Gloucester’s only Specialist Science School.

The Crypt School has a rich history and an exciting future.

Through the aims and ethos of the Crypt School,  you will find that we are a school that cares for each individual. Citizenship concerns relationships with the wider world and is a statutory part of the Crypt School curriculum.

There is a structured  curriculum and with set homework and assessment of pupils. The Crypt School recognises the need for close co-operation and understanding between parents and school.

Each pupil is placed in a School House, the objective being to encourage “friendly competition” in a variety of activities.

All pupils are encouraged to take advantage of a range of extracurricular activity including trips and excursions. The CSA holds regular meetings and social events to generate money in support of the school.

A number of regular events occur throughout the year including drama productions.

The standard of school sport is very high, and the school has been represented at national level in a variety of activities.
