PE Summer Term Clubs 2013 provisional
After a difficult couple of years as a year group the boys really came together as a team this year. In their last year of rugby before becoming seniors, the team put in an extra effort with training and attitude and the results speak for themselves. Daniel Annfield leading from the front as captain led by example and was the top try scorer with 12 tries in as many games. Ryan Kline who represented Gloucester District a year early and was unfortunate to miss out on the U16 County squad was also a stand out player in the back line.

As you can see it was a very successful season, with the peak of the season ending in a disappointing loss to Cheltenham College in the sixth round of the Daily Mail Cup. As a team the boys really came together and showed a whole new level of determination and commitment. If the game was decided on possession and territory then Crypt would have won but unfortunately the College defence was too organised and withstood the pressure Crypt had. Two break away scores then secured the win for Cheltenham College, who are a very good team and will go very far in the national competition.
The team can take a lot of credit and be immensely proud of their achievements this year. I am sure their last year as a team will stand them in good shape going into senior rugby.
