It was written after consultation with staff, students, parents and governors.
Whilst Science provides the facts, Personal, Social and Health Education gives the students the opportunity to explore their emotions and the pressures they face.
The lessons stress the importance of the family in a loving relationship and cover sexuality, puberty, conception and birth, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, HIV and AIDS.
