Science CPD "Sound and Light"
Gloucestershire primary teachers enjoyed an afternoon at The Crypt School, exploring fun practical activities for teaching sound and light. The session was led by the Crypt primary out-reach officers, Susan Green and James Hargreaves, who are passionate about science learning. Delegates said of the event, "The Crypt teachers were interesting, informative and helpful" and "This will be useful for my teaching". Currently we are working in partnership with local primary schools to develop schemes of work for the new KS2 science curriculum.
The Crypt team are always keen to welcome educators and STEM volunteers to these events, as we collaborate to improve the learning experience of Gloucestershire school children. We are dedicated to evolving strong working relationships with local educators, employers and universities. Our mission is to establish a school-based centre of excellence for science learning.
