On Tuesday 19th June the school held a well-attended information evening about applying to universities through the UCAS system. There was a presentation by Head of Sixth Form Mr Brough, covering the process, the application form, the costs and the deadlines. There was also a presentation by Doug Jennings from the University of Bristol, about student finance and the cost of going to university. Both PowerPoint presentations are available here (University Page on UCAS and Careers menu) , and a two printed guides about UCAS are available from Mr Brough in school for those who were unable to attend the evening.
