January Exam Timetable

Trial GCSE Exam Timetable

January 2012 Examination Season

With the building work taking place at school it has been decided that where possible all whole year group examinations will be move to St. Barnabas Church Hall.

The Church Hall is opposite St. Barnabas church on Stroud Road and takes approximately 10 minutes to walk there from school.
For those scheduled to take an examination at the Church Hall in the morning Year 10 & 11 students will need to go directly to the hall arriving there at 8.45 at the latest.   After the examination they will be escorted back to school by senior members of staff.

Sixth formers will be expected to get themselves to the Church Hall and back to school on their own and again should go directly to the hall in the morning.   However they should be aware that there will be no parking for their cars at St. Barnabas and if they drive to school they will need to allow enough time to get from school to St. Barnabas Church Hall.

On the two afternoons where there are exams being held at the Church Hall Year 11 will be escorted to the hall and will be dismissed to go home at the end of the examination.

Sixth formers will need to get themselves to the hall no later than 1.15 and at the end of the exam they will be dismissed to go home.

There will be some students who will be taking their exams as normal in school as the church hall only holds 88 students.   Normal rules apply and students should present themselves outside the correct room not less than 15 minutes before the start of an examination.
