Crypt: Gloucester's only Science School

The School week consists of 25 periods of 60 minutes each, organised over a two week cycle. The table below right indicates the current spread of lessons during the first three years.

Key Stage 4: In Years 10 and 11 a core of subjects according to the National Curriculum is followed. This core consists of English (Language and Literature), Mathematics and the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

 

Optional subjects include Design Technology, French, German, History, Geography, Music, Art, I.C.T., Drama, Business Studies, R.E. and P.E. all of which may be studied to GCSE. In addition all boys follow courses in Religious Education, Personal and Social Education, Careers, Physical Education and Games.
