Suzhou Foreign Language School
Shanghai which is 2 hours by road from Suzhou, and during our visit to the world’s second largest city, we visited the Temple of the City God Nanjing Road & Surrounding Markets, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition and the World Famous Bund
Zhenghu Primary School - we had the opportunity to teach some primary school aged students English, which was enjoyed by all.
Beijing - After an 11 hour train journey overnight, we arrived in Beijing and checked into our hotel, which was situated on the Olympic Forest, and from our rooms we could see the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube lit at night. We visited the Olympic Site, and went inside the Bird’s Nest itself! We also visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
